Reyna Nichol
Real ELOQUENT magazine was founded by Reyna Nichol when she gathered together a group of woman in 2010 to create a new women's fashion magazine. Reyna had a vision to personify the "ELOQUENT WOMAN," putting together elements that characterize the woman of strength, groundedness, grace, and style.
She's a graduate of New York University with a Bachelor's in Journalism and was a student at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco for Product Design. Reyna began ELOQUENT as a response to the often sexually exploitive, hyper-sexual representation of women in the media.

Celebrating over 10 years of publishing...
Real ELOQUENT was first published in 2011, then called ELOQUENT WOMAN.
The publication continued to produce new issues annually for the next decade. In 2022, the magazine entered a
"re-assessment" phase and was rebranded in 2024. The magazine officially relaunched under the new title "Real ELOQUENT" in 2025.
For decades, the fashion and beauty industry has been driven by hyper-sexual images and unrealistic beauty standards. As a result, a pervasive cocktail of body-dysphoria, low-self esteem, poor mental health, and negative self-perception ensued. Real ELOQUENT endeavors to combat these negative psychological effects by curating positive online images and influences that inspire and promote true beauty, real health, and the authentic voice. Compassion is a core value of the ELOQUENT WOMAN, therefore, we are diametrically opposed to the exploitation of women and children in the media and work to collaborate with anti-sex trafficking and anti-porn movements. At Real ELOQUENT, we endeavor to be your resource for responsible style.
